![]() This will open a second portal and allow you to travel to the Starlight Strand location. Feed the largo the same amount of vegetables to make it explode. This creature is an enlarged version of cotton slimes. Head to the Conservatory and look for the Cotton Largo. The jetpack will take you to a new area where you can find Flutter Slimes and Moondew Nectar. To create a jetpack, you will also need to pay 450 units of currency. Use the fruits to feed them and then take the fabricator's resources. It is the fruit of glowing slimes that are found in the Conservatory only at night. Also, don't forget to mine 10 units of phosphorus ore (Phosphorus ore). Once you've mined 10 ore, return to the fabricator.ĭeliver the required amount to the fabricator and craft a jetpack (Jetpack). To do this, inspect the rocks with pink squares. So, all in all, pink slimes are a fantastic starting species for ranchers who are just starting out! They’re by far the least problematic to care for, and the easiest to entertain and feed.In the Ember Valley location, you can find a large number of unique creatures and resources. The little guy’s a unique case, that’s for sure!) With a can-do attitude, plenty of grit, and her trusty vacpack, Beatrix attempts to stake a claim, amass a fortune, and avoid. I tell him apart by faint glittery patches on his slime, that the others don’t have. Slime Rancher is the tale of Beatrix LeBeau, a plucky, young rancher who sets out for a life a thousand light years away from Earth on the Far, Far Range where she tries her hand at making a living wrangling slimes. ![]() I found the little guy under our silo, eating stolen goods like a little scamp, and they showed something akin to relief when I came back out carrying the little guy! (I’ve taken to calling the little guy Scamp, if any of you were wondering. They’re incredibly friendly, and I’ve watched them act almost anxious when one of them had run off in the night. I’ve been knocked onto the ground multiple times, but I can never find it in myself to be mad at them. We have a smallish group of six pink slimes living just outside our ranch, and every time me or Toast have to go out that way the little guys swarm us. Pink slimes behave differently depending on their temperament, some of them can be the most mellow little darlings you’ve ever met and some of them can make you think a stray hunter slime has snuck into your pink slime corral and started masquerading as one of them with how mischievous they are.īut one thing stays the same throughout all of the species I’ve ever encountered they very easily become attached to you, and other slimes. My recommended companion species for pink slimes are rocks or tabbies, as they both tend to be rather mellow in personality as well. Please note that it is incredibly dangerous to keep more than two types of slimes together in the same pen, as three could lead to a largo eating a plort not of their own and turning into the dreaded Tarr. The minimum group of slimes for a pink slime to feel comfortable in is Four, but larger groups have shown signs of pink slimes being happier. Pink slimes are social and playful creatures by heart, and if they are alone for extended periods of time they tend to get rather depressed, refusing to eat or drink until they feel as if they’re surrounded by companions. Although, it is needed to note they need to be in a group. The pink slime is incredibly versatile, and will do well in many different biomes and corral setups! As long as you provide them with the proper enrichment (the bare minimum being slime toys that are widely available for order, but if unavailable to you a beach ball will do), they will thrive in absolutely any setting. They are very sociable creatures, and show a remarkable ability to get along with almost any other slime species, the only exceptions to this being the Puddle slime and the Gold slime. They are an incredibly docile species of slime, often presenting ranchers with possibilities to join in on the games they play with one another. ![]() The pink slime is the most common slime on the far far range, being the only truly omnivorous slime known to us at this time. ![]()
